Meet Christian Hornbaker: A Dedicated Father, Community Leader, and Advocate for Stronger Schools in East Grand.
Christian Hornbaker is a proud father of two young children who will be part of East Grand schools for the next decade. His commitment to the district is personal, long-term, and deeply rooted in a desire to ensure every student has access to a safe, enriching, and forward-thinking educational experience.
With a career spanning emergency management, healthcare, tourism, and small business development, Christian brings a unique blend of strategic planning, proactive communication, and community engagement to the table. He’s a certified Emergency Manager and Public Information Officer, known for building trust and strengthening communication between organizations and the public. He and his wife own Grand Pain Specialists in Granby and are proud to be able to take care of chronic pain and mental health patients.
Christian has volunteered extensively across the district—as a coach for middle school volleyball and high school boys club volleyball, a board member for the Fraser Valley Lacrosse Club, and a contributor to the East Grand Strategic Planning Commission. His hands-on involvement reflects his belief that strong schools are built through collaboration, transparency, and active participation.
Christian is running for school board to be a voice for families, educators, and students. He’s ready to listen, lead, and help shape a future where East Grand schools thrive.
